Steep Angle Feeder.
The Steep Angle Feeder is used to generate an even and controlled flow of tobacco. It further allows a discharge of product at any height of plant specific layout.
The integrated buffer box provides storage of the product prior to the feeder. Depending on application the buffer box can vary in size. A reversible bottom belt with variable speed drive as well as specific sensor technology may be used to fulfill the functions required, e.g. first in first out; follow-up and search; blending; back-up buffer in case of stoppage of downstream equipment.

This tipper is specifically designed for C48 cartons and is equipped with a pneumatically operated lid that facilitates gentle and dust free discharge of the product. It is driven by a compact electro-mechanical drive with planetary gearbox. Automated in-feed into the tipper can be offered as an option.
